Moldovan diplomacy head has meeting with Luxembourg counterpart
Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Oleg Tulea today had a meeting with Foreign and European Affairs Minister of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn.
According to the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service, the two officials tackled topical subjects of the bilateral political dialogue. The sides also specified the long-run actions in the cooperation between the two diplomacies in the multilateral sector, within regional and international structures: United Nations, OSCE and Council of Europe.
The ministers agreed on strengthening the economic and commercial dimension of the bilateral ties. The Moldovan diplomacy head made an invitation to Luxembourg companies to invest in Moldova.
Oleg Tulea and Jean Asselborn also discussed the European agenda of Moldova. The Luxembourg side backed the Moldovan authorities’ efforts in carrying out the reforms according to the provisions of the Association Agreement and through full turning to account of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with the European Union.
The Moldovan foreign affairs minister thanked the Luxembourg interlocutor for the support provided to Moldova, including for the carrying out of a string of social projects implemented through technical assistance programmes.
