
As many as 231 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,509 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 231 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 6 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 495,415 COVID cases have been recorded so far.
Health Ministry (MS), 6 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (4 physicians, 2 medical assistants).
As many as 1,236 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 98 are in extremely serious condition and 15 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 11,625 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 13,495 are under supervision at home.
Another 1,229 people have been treated. As many as 467,312 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 13 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 11,117 people have died of coronavirus in all.
