As many as 343 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,657 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 343 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 4 out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 508,578 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.
According to the Health Ministry (MS), 10 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 8 medical assistants).
As many as 556 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 77 are in extremely serious condition and 10 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 2,954 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 7,032 are under supervision at home.
Another 641 people have been treated. As many as 491,634 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 7 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 11,357 people have died of coronavirus in all.
