As many as 790 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 5,820 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 790 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 677 among non-vaccinated people. 20 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 272,325 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 5 out of all cases of infection are among medical employees (1 physician, 2 medical assistants, 2 -auxiliary staff).
As many as 1,171 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 95 are in extremely serious condition and 8 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 2,992 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,393 are under supervision at home.
Another 531 people have been treated. As many as 260,508 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 11 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,466 people have died of coronavirus in all.
