Over 12,000 citizens cross Moldova's border in last hours
Chisinau, 17 March /MOLDPRES/ - Border policemen in the last 12 hours have recorded 12,558 crossings of the border by people, of which a larger number 7,908 – exits from Moldova.
According to the Border Police, most crossings were by foreign citizens – 7,758 and 4,800 crossings were by Moldovan citizens.
The most demanded border was the one with Romania – 10,768 crossings and 1,658 crossings were signaled at the checkpoints of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border and 132 crossings – of the air border.
As for the crossing of the border by Ukrainian citizens, 4,122 crossings were recorded in all, of which 1,273 entries into Moldova and another 2,849 exits from the country. At the same time, there were 1,256 crossings by Ukrainian minors of the age up to 17 years inclusively.
