Monuments in memory of Stalinist deportations' victims, to Moldovan Ruler to be constructed in two settlements of Moldova

Chisinau, 5 December /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved the construction of a monument in the memory of Stalinist deportations’ victims in the Sireti village, central Straseni district. It will be erected to commemorate those 53 people deported from the Sireti village. The financial means to this end will be allocated from the local budget and donations, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.   

Also today, the cabinet approved a decision on the building of a monument to Ruler Stefan cel Mare in the western Ungheni city. The expenses for the works of construction and setting the monument, as well as for the arrangement of the adjacent ground will be covered from donations of employees of the West Regional Department of the Border Police General Inspectorate.
