Works of preparing leisure camps for children to be completed in Moldova till 17 May

Chisinau, 4 April /MOLDPRES/ - The works of preparation of the leisure camps for children will be completed till 17 May 2019. This is stipulated in a cabinet decision due to be published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) on 5 April.    

At the same time, the day camps will be prepared for the reception of children till 1 June. The estimative cost for one day in the leisure camps financed from the state budget varies between 165 and 251 lei.

According to the document published in the Official Journal, the government will provide for free 25 per cent of all tickets distributed in leisure camps to more categories of children and teenagers, among whom orphan children, children from disadvantaged families, as well as families with three and more children. The rest of the summer tickets will be sold with a cut of 80 per cent of the ticket’s full price.  

At the same time, the Education, Culture and Research Ministry will bear the expenses for the participation of 100 pupils from Romania in leisure camps from Moldova. Also, 300 tickets will be bought for pupils from education institutions of Moldova’s eastern districts and Bender city, subordinated to the Education, Culture and Research Ministry. This year, another 150 pupils from the conflict-stricken zone of Eastern Ukraine and institutions where subjects are taught in Romanian from Ukraine will also rest in Moldova.   

The decision enters into force after its publication in the Official Journal.
