More international treaties signed by Moldova enter into force

Chisinau, 11 April /MOLDPRES/ - More international treaties signed by Moldova have entered into force and will be published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) on 12 April.  

Under the document, a memorandum of understanding between Moldova’s State Chancellery and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation on the programme, Turning to Account Migration Potential in Moldova, phase II, signed in Chisinau on 18 February 2019, entered into force starting from the same day.  

An agreement between the Moldovan government and the government of Georgia on cooperation in the tourism sector, signed on 28 April 2017, entered into force on 1 March 2019. A protocol between the customs administrations of the GUAM (Organization for Democracy and Economic Development) member states on interaction in the field of fighting customs contraventions as to the movement of goods by air transport outside the state borders of the GUAM member countries, signed in Chisinau on 5 October 2018, entered into force on 14 March this year.   

A memorandum of understanding between the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry of Moldova and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation on the final phase of the Project, Healthy Generation (Youth Friendly Health Services in Moldova), signed in Chisinau on 15 March 2019, entered into force on the same day.

A memorandum of understanding between the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry of Moldova and the Agriculture Ministry of Hungary on cooperation in the food safety sector, signed in Budapest on 5 December 2016, entered into force on 22 March 2017.   

The texts of the treaties which entered into force will be published in the same issue of the Official Journal.
