Moldova to host Balkan Mathematical Olympiad

Chisinau, 26 April /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will host the 36th issue of the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad, due on 30 April - 5 May 2019.
Teams from 17 countries will participate in the event, including Albania, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, United Kingdom, Montenegro, Moldova, Romania, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Turkey, Turkmenistan.
The teams participating in the contest are represented by six pupils and two teachers each.
The opening of the Olympiad will take place on 1 May and the ceremony on awarding prizes to winners will be held on 4 May.
