Teachers of IT, mathematics, physics can get grants worth 25,000 lei in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 September /MOLDPRES/ - Teachers of IT, mathematics and physics from Moldova can get grants worth 25,000 lei. The grants will be provided within a project titled, Scholarships of Excellence for Teachers. The files can be submitted till 1 November 2019.

Twenty five grants worth 25,000 lei each will be provided within the project. At the same time, the winners will receive one laptop each. Teachers of information technology, mathematics or physics from gymnasiums and lyceums of Moldova, except for the Chisinau municipality, can participate in the contest.

The project’s partners are set thereby to promote the employment and the continuation of the teaching activity of teachers of IT, mathematics and physics in general education institutions of Moldova, where an acute lack of teachers is recorded. At the same time, the project is aimed at motivating teachers from regions and encouraging the use of information technologies in the education process.

The files of application for the contest could be submitted personally at the University Information Centre or can be sent by ordinary mail.

The project, Scholarships of Excellence for Teachers, the 2019-2020 issue, was launched by the University Information Centre and is organized in partnership with the full financial support of a foundation from Moldova and is backed by the Education, Culture and Research Ministry.
