Warm, sunny weather condition expected in Moldova this week

Chisinau, 04 November /MOLDPRES/ – The sunny autumn days, with generous temperatures, without precipitation, forecast the meteorologists for this week, the SHS’s information and media communication service has reported.

After a little cold and night frost of minus 3ºC – 4ºC, recorded last week, the following days will enjoy mild and sunny weather, slightly unusual for November. Thus, according to SHS, in the next seven days, on average across Moldova, it will be recorded thermal maximums of 23ºC. At night, thermometers will indicate between 8ºC – 13ºC.

November is the last month of the year, when in the multiannual series of observations there is a positive monthly average temperature of the air – this is in the territory from +2ºC in the north to +5ºC – in the south. The coldest November of all the period of instrumental measurements, for most of the territory, was recorded in 1993, when the average monthly air temperature ranged between – 1.8ºC (Comrat, Cahul) and – 3.3ºC (Briceni). The warmest month of November was in 2010, when the average monthly air temperature ranged from +8.2ºС (Briceni) to +11.1ºС (Cahul).

According to weather forecasters at accuweather.com, winter will take effect in early December. In Europe, meteorologists warn that temperatures will drop well below freezing. According to the advanced forecast, the winter between January and February 2020 could be the seventh coldest winter in the last 30 years. The experts forecast that the winter ahead will be tougher than in 2018. Most likely, we shall have an intense winter, which will extend until March.
