As many as 453 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 August /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 2,406 tests were processed in Moldova and 453 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed, including six from the Transnistrian region. So far, 27,443 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), two cases are imported. Of the number of cases today, 16 are medical workers.

Another 182 people were treated. So far, 19,100 people have been treated.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of six more deaths due to the new coronavirus, the number of deaths reaching 841.
