Moldovan health ministry to consider serious pandemic situation in Chisinau

Chisinau, 17 August /MOLDPRES/- Acting deputy head of the Social Assistance and Health Directorate Boris Gâlcă announced today at online meeting of the municipal services that the serious pandemic situation in Chisinau will be discussed in a joint meeting with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
According to Gâlcă, the number of Chisinau residents infected with COVID-19 exceeded 12,000, and 713 coronavirus patients are hospitalized in municipal medical institutions, of which 92 are in serious condition.
He noted that pandemic situation is even more difficult as the incidence of COVID-19 infection in Chisinau is higher than the existing ratio in the country.
