As many as 1,022 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 3,003 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 1,022 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 54,064 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 86 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 28, medical assistants –40, auxiliary staff employees – 18.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 649 are in serious condition, of whom 42 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus and 1,547 patients are in medium seriousness condition.

Another 502 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 39,499 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 16 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,336 people dead of this virus in all.
