Moldovan official journal to publish platform concept for protecting intellectual property rights

Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/- The government's decision on the Information Platform in protection of intellectual property rights will be published in the Official Journal on 23 October.

Under the decision, the platform will consist of: the information system in protection of intellectual property rights; the information system Register of applications for action. At the same time, the technical concepts and regulations of the systems were approved.

Subjects of the legal relations of the Information System in protection of intellectual property were appointed: State Agency for Intellectual Property - as owner and holder of the Information System in protection of intellectual property; Information Technology and Cyber Security Service - as technical manager of information system in intellectual property rights.

The implementation of the provisions of the decision will be made from the account and within the limits of the financial means provided annually in the state budget and other means, according to the law. The owners of the mentioned information systems will annually evaluate the costs necessary for their administration and will submit proposals for requesting the financial means to be included in the draft law of the state budget for the respective year.
