Moldova, Turkey to boost bilateral dialogue

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today had a phone conversation with Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. The officials discussed a string of subjects on the bilateral agenda and confirmed mutual interest in boosting the bilateral dialogue.
According to the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service, Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu congratulated his counterpart on taking over the office of head of the Moldovan diplomacy. He also appreciated the permanent contacts established between the two countries at the highest level, including between the foreign affairs ministries.
For his part, Aureliu Ciocoi found out the ascendant dynamic of the bilateral relations, in the spirit of the Strategic Partnership between the two countries. He also expressed confidence in the continuous deepening of the Moldovan-Turkish cooperation.
During the conversation, Aureliu Ciocoi and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu agreed on the full use of the opportunities of the Joint Strategic Planning Group – a sub-mechanism of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Moldova and Turkey.
