Fines imposed against more than 1,500 drivers in Moldova on days off

Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/ - Over 1,500 drivers were documented by employees of the National Inspectorate of Public Security (INSP), for reasons of driving with infringements, of whom 980 exceeded the speed limit.
According to INSP, also on this period, 57 drivers were discovered as driving drunk and in seven cases, drivers refused the alcohol testing.
On the concerned period, 15 traffic accidents were registered, in the wake of which one person died and another 15 were injured.
At the same time, policemen verified 440 parks, 808 leisure zones and locations placed in open air, over 1,500 cemeteries.
