Moldovan National Motor Transport Agency has new deputy director dealing with digitalization

Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/ - The National Motor Transport Agency (ANTA) has a new deputy director, due to deal with the digitalization sector. It is about Ion Bocancea, who today was introduced to staff by Deputy Prime Minister, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Andrei Spinu.   

„ANTA is one of the structures which will implement the goals of the MODERN TRANSPORT PROGRAMME, announced on the last days. I want the as quick as possible completion of the e-Authorizations system, which has been launched in the last two years and is not fully functional till present. I want people to have access to all public transport routes from Moldova through digital systems: e-GPS, e-ticket, e-routing. Time is ripe for us to switch to another stage of transformation and make proper order in the entire system,’’ Andrei Spinu said.   

According to the official, ‘’in order to safely and really advance in what we want to do, we appointed Ion Bocancea to the office deputy director for the digitalization sector at ANTA for the first time ever.’’

The new deputy director studied at the Academy of Economic Studies from Moldova; he is specialist in cybernetics, statistics and economic informatics and has a diploma of master in business and economics. Ion Bocancea has a rich experience in the field of information technologies and communications (ITC). Among the ITC projects which he has carried out, there are the retort centres of IT services for the RED NORD stock company; he set up the single centre for the servicing of clients and implemented the system of planning the enterprise’s resources for the enterprise Apa-Canal Chisinau.
