Moldovan president talks to residents of Opaci, Zaim

Chisinau, July 10. /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu visited two towns in Căușeni district - Opaci and Zaim a few days ago. She had very good talks with the people there, the presidential press service has reprorted.
"Projects supported by the European Village program for the expansion of the water supply and sanitation system, as well as other projects financed by development partners have been recently carried out in both localities." Maia Sandu said that the standard of living of the people depends on quality public services, and the opening of a Joint Center for Public Services in Opaci helps the inhabitants to get the necessary documents faster, without having to go to the district center".
The official said that through joint efforts, at the local and central level, the quality of life in every locality in the country can be improved. "In the city of Căușeni, we visited the historical monument under restoration „Biserica Adormirii Maicii Domnului”, with museum status. Our government, together with that of the United States of America, supports the effort to restore this unique monument from the Eastern Carpathian area by its location below ground level, a monument that will be included in the national tourist route in the near future", the head of state said.
