Moldovan PM attends important event at Academy of Economic Studies

Chisinau, July 10. /MOLDPRES/- Today about 500 students graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. Prime Minister Dorin Recean also participated in the festive diploma awarding event, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The official congratulated the graduates for the results achieved and spoke to them about the country's modernization goals and professional development opportunities, emphasizing that the involvement and contribution of young people in building a European state are significant.
“I urge you to keep learning to become better at what you set out to achieve in life. In the midst of the European integration, Moldova needs professionals and people capable to produce major changes in society, increase productivity and support the development of the national economy. However, the economy grows if there is productivity and competitiveness", said Recean.
The Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova was set up in 1991, being the only university institution with an economic profile in the country. In the 32 years of activity, more than 70 thousand young people have completed their studies here.
