Admission to "Nicolae Testemițanu" State University of Medicine and Pharmacy to start on July 19

Chisinau, July 14. /MOLDPRES/- On July 19, "Nicolae Testemițanu" State University of Medicine and Pharmacy will start the admission competition for higher education in the academic year 2023-2024 for Moldovan citizens.

This year, 500 places with funding from the state budget are offered for undergraduate and integrated studies, including 25 places for candidates from the eastern districts of the country. Out of the total number of budget places provided, 440 places are provided for Medicine, 10 - for Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Radiological Technology and Public Health, 5 – for Optometry and Physiokinetotherapy and Rehabilitation.

The admission plan also envisages 628 places on a contract basis. For local citizens, the amount of fees per study program will be: Medicine – 32,200 lei (about 1,610 euros), Pharmacy – 30,500 lei, Dentistry – 42,300 lei, Optometry – 32,200 lei, Physiokinetotherapy and Rehabilitation – 21,600 lei, Public Health, Nursing and Radiological Technology – 19,300 lei.

At the first stage of admission, held on July 19-31, candidates can enter the contest both online, by uploading the files on the platform e-admitere.usmf.md, as well as in person at the central headquarters of the University.

The competition file will include the application and all scanned documents in .pdf or .jpeg format. Candidates who intend to participate in the admission contest only at USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" can attach the original documents. Young people have the right to register in the competition simultaneously for a maximum of three study programs, but they can only be enrolled in one of them.

The intermediary results will be published on August 1 on the University website https://usmf.md. Only candidates who submitted the original documents will participate in the final competition. Thus, the people who will be on the lists shall present the original documents on August 2-4. Young people who have not passed the intermediate admission competition, but want to participate in the final competition, shall also submit the documents within the established deadlines. The final results will be announced on August 7 on the University's website.

If any places remain unfilled, an additional admission session will be held on August 8-11, and the results will be published on August 12.

The period for submitting documents for participation in the admission competition for master's studies is similar to that for higher and integrated studies - July 19-31, with a total of 57 places being offered.

Candidates can register both online, by submiting the competition file to the e-mail address admiteremaster@usmf.md, and in person at the central headquarters of the University.

For the Management in public health program, the competition files will be submitted in person at the School of Management in Public Health.
