Moldovan deputy premier: Livestock sector and family farms to be supported by state

Chisinau, July 17. /MOLDPRES/- The livestock sector is a priority one, therefore, animal breeders will be supported by the state throughout the technological chain. Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry made the statement in Ghelăuza locality, Străşeni district, where he visited one of the largest livestock farms in the country, specialized in raising dairy cattle.

The owner of the business also manages 160 ha of agricultural land.

In the discussion with Bolea, the farmer appreciated the attitude of the ministry and the measures to support the livestock sector. At the same time, he highlighted the necessity for the household of a pit to store the manure accumulated on the farm, which will later be introduced into the soil. Although it is a family farm, the farmer has created four more jobs.
