Resigned Minister of Education unveils activity report of last two years

Chisinau, July 17. /MOLDPRES/- Resigned Minister of Education and Research Anatolie Topală today unveiled the activity report for two years.

"It was an honor for me to exercise, for almost two years, the mandate of Minister of Education and Research and to contribute together with the team to the modernization of the areas under the responsibility of the ministry", said Topală.

He said that during the period in which he was at the head of the institution, an extensive process of modernization of the higher education system and the research sector was launched. 

Among the achievements, Topală highlighted the attraction of several investments in the education, money that would be used for the modernization of hundreds of schools and kindergartens in our country, the construction of new classic high schools, the increase in the quality of psycho-pedagogical assistance services, the digitization in education, supporting students with special educational needs and improving water and sanitation services.

He thanked the team he worked with at the ministry, teaching staff and managers of educational institutions.

Late last week, Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced that three ministers, including Anatolie Topală resigned.
