Yellow code of terrorist danger in Transnistrian region extended by September 16

Chisinau, July 17. /MOLDPRES/- The authorities of the Transnistrian region have extended the yellow code of terrorist danger by September 16.

According to an order of the alleged leader of the Transnistrian region, Vadim Krasnoselski, the terrorist danger on the left of the Dniester will be monitored for a period of another 60 days, starting from July 18.

That decision provides for the continuation of patrols made up of so-called representatives of law enforcement bodies on the streets, squares, stadiums, parks, stations, railway stations and in other crowded places. Also, additional checks of gas pipelines, gas distribution stations "in order to identify possible locations of explosive devices" are carried out.

The terrorist threat warning was issued on the left of the Dniester in early May 2022, when several shootings occurred in the region. Periodically the warning was extended.
