Chisinau, July 17. /MOLDPRES/- After the swearing-in-office ceremony, Prime Minister Dorin Recean introduced new ministers to the teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and the Ministry of Education and Research, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

Recean thanked former members of the Cabinet of Ministers Ana Revenco, Lilia Dabija and Anatolie Topală for the reforms and the contribution to the development of the country along the European path.

The presentations of the new ministers began at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, at the head of which Adrian Efros was appointed. Recean spoke about two main goals that must be achieved in this area: the first - reducing the time of intervention in emergency situations to 15 minutes in any corner of the country, according to European standards, and the second - increasing citizens' trust in the police, the border police, rescuers and firefighters.

"We are determined to bring about the expected changes, and through unity and effort, we will achieve them all," said Minister of Internal Affairs Adrian Efros.

At the Ministry of Education and Research, new minister Dan Perciun will bring more dynamism to the education system, highlighting the need to improve general education and continue the university reform, so that the institutions prepare quality professionals.

"A few years ago, I had the honor of working with the ministry's team. I hope we make a good team, set our goals correctly and achieve beautiful and useful things within an institution of utmost importance for the country", Dan Perciun said.

The presentations ended at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, headed by Andrei Spînu. Recean pointed out the complex and necessary tasks that MIDR has for the national economy, such as shortening the cycle from the initiation of projects to their implementation, unlocking the construction sector and resuming infrastructure projects of national interest, strengthening state institutions and creating many jobs.

"Citizens' expectations are high, and we are ready to do our job honestly, with dedication and transparently. It is important to accelerate the development of infrastructure projects so that our citizens can enjoy a better life here at home. With such a well-prepared team, I am sure that we will face the challenges", said Andrei Spînu.
