Tiraspol informed EU Delegation to Moldova about murder of civic activist Oleg Horjan

Chisinau, July 18. /MOLDPRES/- Head of the European Union Delegation to Moldova Jānis Mažeiks had a meeting with Transnistria's president Vadim Krasnoselski today, during which he was informed about the case of the violent death of opposition leader from the Transnistrian region Oleg Horjan.

According to Krasnoselski, a criminal file was opened on this case, under the article that provides for murder. "The case of Oleg Horjan is under my personal control. All versions are being examined, but for now some deductions can be made about this murder. We will discover the crime. If necessary, we will appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova", the alleged president of Tiraspol said.

The parties also discussed topics related to the social and medical assistance of the Transnistrian region, the negotiation process etc.
