Two new persons appointed members of the Supervision Council of National Bank of Moldova

Chisinau, 20 July /MOLDPRES/ - The former prime minister, Natalia Gavrilita, and Vitalie Lemne have been appointed members of the Supervision Council of the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) for a seven-year period. The parliament approved a decision to this effect today.
The candidacies were put forward in the parliament’s plenum, following the holding of a contest for the selection of candidates for this position.
Seventeen people were admitted to the contest for the selection of the candidates for the office of member of the BNM’s Supervision Council.
Under the regulation on the contest’s holding, the candidates must have a labour experience of at least ten years in the financial, legal, audit sectors or in a scientific or academic position in these fields.
Natalia Gavrilita held the office of prime minister of Moldova and Vitalie Lemne is the deputy head of the administrative board of the National Commission of Financial Market.
