Ten localities in Străseni to be connected to wastewater discharge main

Chisinau, July 24. /MOLDPRES/- Ten localities in Străseni district will benefit from a sewage system, as part of a technical project for the construction of a wastewater discharge main, received at the end of last week by the Center Regional Development Agency (ADR).

The activity is part of the regional program Sewage system and connection to the pumping/purification station in Străseni, implemented by ADR Center, with funding from the sources of the National Fund for Regional and Local Development.

The project was preceded by the preparation of a feasibility study for all the localities in Străseni district, which were divided into eight agglomerations. After the analysis carried out in this study, it was agreed that the technical documentation will be developed for 10 localities, which are part of the Agglomeration No1: Străseni, Făgureni, Sireți, Roșcani, Negrești, Saca, Ghelăuza, Tătărești, Pănășești and Ciobanca.

The initiative aims to provide the inhabitants of the Străseni district with a modern sewage system, by expanding/regionalizing the sanitation service and connecting them to the regional sewage treatment plant in Străseni, the quoted source said.
