Lithuanian parliament delegation to pay visit to Chisinau

Chisinau, July 24. /MOLDPRES/- On July 24-26, a delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania will pay a visit to Chisinau. The foreign officials will have meetings with the country's leadership.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the Lithuanian delegation includes deputies Žygimantas Pavilionis, chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Kazys Starkevičius, chairman of the Committee on Economics and Valentinas Bukauskas, deputy head of the Committee on State Administration and Local Authorities.
The guests will have meetings with the country's leadership - President Maia Sandu, Speaker Igor Grosu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The agenda of the visit also includes discussions with the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration, Doina Gherman, with deputies from the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Lithuania and others.
Also, the delegation will have discussions with Deputy Prime Ministers Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.
During the discussions, several current topics will be addressed, such as the reform agenda of the Republic of Moldova, the European integration of our country and the opportunities for boosting Moldovan-Lithuanian relations in various key areas.
