Moldovan president about Russia's spying actions

Chisinau, July 25. /MOLDPRES/- Our services will come up with more details and solutions to the problem. President Maia Sandu made the statement today, following the publication of a journalistic investigation on the existence of a reception system on the roof of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Chisinau.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) announced today that Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Chisinau Oleg Vasnetsov will be summoned for explanations on the espionage actions of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova.

The MAEIE said that in close coordination with other relevant institutions, it analyzes the nature and extent of these espionage actions, including the activity of the persons mentioned in the investigation, in order to adequately and promptly respond to the situation. "Depending on further developments, the authorities of the Republic of Moldova will analyze several reaction options", the MAEIE said.

The Insider and a local TV channel have published a journalistic investigation on the existence of a reception system on the roof of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Chisinau. Several people were presented who are allegedly involved in espionage actions in our country.
