PHOTO Strong storm in northern, central Moldova affected several localities

Chisinau, July 26. /MOLDPRES/- Several localities in the center and north of the country were cut off power, due to yesterday strong storm. At the same time, many roads were blocked, due to trees blown down by the wind.
According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), heavy rain and strong wind were recorded in the capital and in the north of the country - Edineț, Glodeni, Dondușeni, Râșcani, Ocnița, Fălești, Drochia and Bălți.
Police intervened urgently to give help to the citizens and provide support in liquidating the consequences of the storm.
In case of need and support, citizens were urged to call Service 112.
