State of emergency likely to be extended for another 60 days

Chisinau, July 26. /MOLDPRES/- The state of emergency could be extended for another 60 days. The announcement was made at today's cabinet meeting.
Thus, Minister of Internal Affairs Adrian Efros proposed the inclusion on the agenda the project on extension of the state of emergency throughout the country.
The last time, the state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova was extended by 60 days starting from June 4. The state of emergency in our country was established on February 24, 2022, with the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
