Thirty young people to benefit from paid probations in state's institutions

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - Young people with ages between 18 and 29 years will be able to benefit from training probationaries at state’s institutions, in order to get needed professional experience and closely know the specific of the work in the public service. Also, the paid probationaries will facilitate the transition from the education system to the labour market and will contribute to the attraction of the most advanced probationers to the public service.    

In this respect, the cabinet approved, at a proposal by the State Chancellery, a regulation on the organization and carrying out of paid probationeries in the public service, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.   

The document includes provisions concerning the organization and holding of the contest, compilation of the probationary contract, monitoring and assessment of the probationer’s activity.   

The recruiting and selection of young people will be organized twice per year, in May-June and October-November. The period of time worked by the probationers will be taken into account at the calculation of the length of service.

The probationers will have a monthly scholarship of 3,000 lei and the number of places available for each authority will be established annually, depending on the needs. Thirty young people will be selected for this year in all; yet, starting from the 2024 year, the figure will increase up to 300 probationers.    

The announcement on the launch of the recruiting and selection process, as well as the conditions of eligibility for the probationary will be published on the government’s portal, www.stagii.gov.md and on the official webpage of the host authority, by at least 15 days before the deadline for submitting the files by the candidates.
