Preparations for winter: Energocom company of Moldova signs contracts on natural gas supply

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Energocom company continues the preparation for the 2023-2024 cold season. The enterprise has signed contracts on the supply of natural gas with three companies. Two of them will deliver gas to Energocom for the first time ever.

The contracts were signed following tenders on gas procurement, held by Energocom this week. Nine bids were received on behalf of six European companies.

Energocom specified that the tenders on natural gas procurement were held, taking into account the ceiling purchasing price for gas, the period and the corridor of delivery and the gas stocking point.

The enterprise informed that it would continue holding tenders and to identify solutions to provide Moldova’s consumers with enough quantities of natural gas, needed in the 2023-2024 cold season.
