Moldovan tried to illegally take 900 commemorative coins out of Moldova

Chisinau, July 31. /MOLDPRES/- A 39-year-old Moldovan allegedly tried to illegally take about 900 commemorative coins out of Moldova, some of which were allegedly made of precious metal. The case happened yesterday evening in Chisinau International Airport.
Thus, the border police together with the customs officials detected commemorative coins in the luggage of a compatriot, without being declared. The case took place during the control of passengers on the Chisinau-Warsaw route.
The coins were picked up and sent for examination, and the person risks being sanctioned.
