Artists from nine countries to attend International Theater and Film Festival ClassesFest 2023

Chisinau, Nov. 17 /MOLDPRES/- Young artists from 9 countries will participate in the 12th edition of the ClassFest International Theater and Film Festival, Cinematography Section, due on November 20-24 at Artcor Center in Chisinau.

Director of the Festival, university professor Svetlana Târțău said that the event is an international artistic action, unique in the Republic of Moldova, which promotes the creations of young filmmakers, encourages the exchange of experience and professional relations between students, teachers, professionals from our country and those from European film schools, familiarizing the general public with the films made by the young generation, promoting the values of contemporary art and intercultural dialogue.

This edition of the festival, dedicated to cinematographic art will contribute to promoting and developing creativity and authenticity of young directors, cinematographers, film and television producers. 

Attending the event, Monica Babuc, the director of the Romanian Cultural Institute "Mihai Eminescu" in Chisinau, noted that it is wonderful that at the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau there are people who propose and insist on organizing this event.

The ClassFest festival is organized by the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts, the Faculty of Theatrical Art, Choreography and Multimedia in partnership with the Swiss Cooperation Office/Swiss Government, the Ministry of Culture, the French Embassy in the Republic of Moldova, the French Alliance of Moldova, the German Cultural Center ACCENTE/ Goethe - Zentrum Chisinau, the Romanian Cultural Institute Mihai Eminescu in Chisinau, the Creative Industries Center "Artcor" and other cultural institutions.

The first edition of the ClassFest Festival was held in 2011.
