Moldovan parliament takes note of MP's resignation

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament has taken note of the application on resignation by lawmaker Mihail Popsoi. The MPs today a draft decision to this effect.
Mihail Popsoi submitted the application on resignation, after he had been appointed to the office of deputy prime minister, foreign affairs minister. Respectively, one MP of lawmaker belonging to the Action and Solidarity Party was declared vacant.
Under the Law on the status of the MP, the vacant mandate will be assigned to the immediately next substitute on the list of the electoral contender.
