Moldovan president pays working visit to south Moldova settlement

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has visited the Crihana Veche village, southern Cahul district, where she discussed with the mayor, councilors and mayoralty’s employees how the welfare of the Moldovan villages can be enhanced.      

The headquarters of the mayoralty has been recently renovated in the settlement within the European Village Programme and the building of the centre for development of local businesses benefits from a new heating system, following an investment of over 400,000 lei. These are just several examples from numerous projects carried out at Crihana Veche in the last years.    

„I encouraged the local authorities to be, in continuation, active and to turn to good account the opportunities of financing, which will be ever more with our advancement on the way of accession to EU,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
