Moldovan fine artist inaurugates anniversary exhibition
Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - A painting exhibition titled, Parallel Worlds II, by fine artist Ghenadie Jalba, at his 65th birthday anniversary, was inaugurated at the Chisinau-based Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre on 30 September.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Ghenadie Jalba said that the exhibition comprised 79 painting works, made by him in the last years.
Ghenadie Jalba was born in the Sarata Veche village, northern Floresti district, on 13 October 1956. He graduated from V.I Surikov Fine Arts Institute from Moscow.
Fine artist Ghenadie Jalba organized more personal exhibitions in Moldova and abroad: Belgium, France, Germany, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and in other states. He was awarded numerous national and international prizes and got the honorific title of Merited Man in 2006. In 2009, he became head of the Moldovan Fine Artists Union and during 2015-2020 he acted as deputy head of this Union.
The exhibition will be opened till 30 October.
