
Moldovan parliament appoints new head of ANRE
Chisinau, March 31 / MOLDPRES /- Alexei Taran has been appointed today by parliament as director of the Board of Directors of the National Energy Regulatory Agency / ANRE / for a six-year term.
59 deputies voted for his candidacy.
Alexei Taran studied undergraduate and master's degree at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. According to his CV, he worked in private companies in the oil industry.
Alexei Taran's candidacy was proposed to the plenary of the Parliament after the contest was conducted by the commission on economy, budget and finance.
ANRE is governed by a Board of Directors, a collegiate body consisting of five directors, who exercise functions of public dignity.
