Fuels get cheaper in Moldova: energy regulator announces new prices

The month of July starts with cuts in fuel prices. Specifically, the price of petrol  decreases by 0.09 lei per liter, and for diesel, drivers will pay by 0.04 lei less.

More exactly, for July 1, the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) announced a maximum price of 23.47 lei per one litre for COR 95 petrol, a decrease of 0.09 lei.

At the same time, diesel will be sold for up to 20.34 lei, down by 0.04 lei.

The maximum retail selling prices of the main standard petroleum products are set by ANRE, considering the average value of Platts quotations, the national currency's average official exchange rate against the dollar, the specific commercial margin, excise rates and rate of the value added tax (VAT).
