
Bulgarian PM to visit Moldova
The government announces a to Moldova visit by Bulgarian Prime Minister Rossen Jeliazkov on July 27-28, 2025. Officials will discuss the bilateral agenda, Bulgaria's support for Moldova’s European path and the strengthening of bilateral relations in the education field.
On July 27, Prime Minister Dorin Recean will welcome his Bulgarian counterpart at the government’s headquarters. The agenda will include a welcoming ceremony, a tête-à-tête meeting, as well as an extended meeting with the delegation members. After the meetings, Prime Ministers Dorin Recean and Rossen Jeliazkov will hold a joint news conference.
Subsequently, the officials will go to the southern Taraclia district, where they will have a meeting with local public authorities' representatives. Also, the PMs from Chisinau and Sofia will participate in a ceremony on the signing of the agreement, under which the former Taraclia University becomes a branch of the Angel Kanchev University of Ruse, Bulgaria.
On July 28, Bulgarian Prime Minister Rossen Jeliazkov will have meetings President of Moldova Maia Sandu and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu.
