
Moldovan PM attends 33rd anniversary of carabineer troops' establishment
Chisinau, Dec. 12 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean today congratulated representatives of the General Inspectorate of Carabineers (IGC) on professional day. During the ceremony dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the carabineer troops' establishment, the premier awarded three IGC employees with Government Honor Diplomas, the government's communication department has reported.
They were awarded as a token of gratitude and high appreciation for professionalism, perseverance and devotion, conscientious attitude towards the fulfillment of service duties, strengthening legality and ensuring public order, as well as on the Carabineer Day.
The official expressed gratitude for their contribution to maintaining public order, ensuring security and safety of Moldovan citizens.
"I thank you for your endless hours of hard work, dedication, patriotism and for the fact that for over three decades you have been uninterruptedly serving the homeland. We honor their courage and keep alive the memory of their sacrifice", the Prime Minister said.
The carabineer troops of the Ministry of Interior were set up on December 12, 1991.
