
Moldovan president has meeting with UNDP's local, regional leadership leadership
Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has had a meeting with Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Ivana Živković and UNDP Resident Representative in Moldova Dima Al-Khatib.
According to the presidential press service, the discussion was focused on the programmes carried out by UNDP Moldova in diverse sectors. The head of state thanked for the assistance provided to overcome the difficulties triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, the energy crisis and the refugees’ one.
At the same time, President Maia Sandu expressed appreciation for the work of UNDP Resident Representative in Moldova Dima Al-Khatib, who ends her mandate in Moldova and wished her much success.
