
Moldova's Land Relations and Cadastre Agency to join International Valuation Standards Council
Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved a draft decision on the accession of the Land Relations and Cadaster Agency to the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
This will allow accessing the most recent editions of the International Standards, getting the right to publish, translate and take over these models as basis in the elaboration of national evaluation standards. At the same time, the accession of the Land Relations and Cadaster Agency to IVSC and the adjusting of the legal and normative framework in the field of evaluation of real estate will contribute to the promotion of Moldova’s image outside the borders and will enhance the attractiveness of the investment climate for foreign citizens.
IVSC is a non-governmental organization founded in 1981, headquartered in the United Kingdom. Its main activity is to work out International Standards in the field of assets’ evaluation. Presently, IVSC comprises over 180 member organizations all over the world – associations of evaluators, institutional members and academic members.
