As many as 283 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 13 August /MOLDPRES/- A number of 6,656 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 283 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 27 import ones. As many as 261,807 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), five cases are among medical employees.
As many as 416 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 66 are in extremely serious condition (7 patient are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 914 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 25,341 are under supervision at home.
Another 201 people have been treated. As many as 253,704 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of three other deaths caused by the new coronavirus, the death toll reached 6,301.
