Chisinau public transport runs under schedule
Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall informs that the road traffic on the streets of the municipality takes place in winter conditions, and the public transport runs according to the schedule, with 321 trolleybuses and 107 buses.
During the night, the municipal road maintenance services and those of the housing and planning worked to prevent the formation of icing, and this morning intervened by snow removal works.
Exdrupo company employees were trained in preventing icing with 22 special vehicles, and spread 443 tons of anti-skid material and 20 tons of salt. Also, roadmen will further monitor main and secondary streets, including on access roads to the suburbs.
Green Spaces Management Association intervened during the night in parks and alleys to combat icing with 15 units, using 2800 liters of anti-skid solution and 750 kg of salt, and by 06:00 222 workers were trained.
