Chisinau-Iasi train to operate twice week, to Odessa - three times
Chisinau, 15 October /MOLDPRES/- The Chisinau-Iasi (Socola) train will operate twice a week, on Saturdays and Sundays, and not three times as it has been so far. At the same time, the train to Odessa will circulate starting from today, three times a week, although in the summer, passengers could travel by train daily to this destination.
Moldova Railways (CFM) announced the decision today.
The price of a train ticket on the route Chisinau - Iasi varies by comfort class, between 90 and 130 lei. Train tickets to Odessa cost between 142 and 184 lei. It starts from Chisinau train station on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 06:57, and customs control is carried out before boarding the train.
The CFM said it will continue to monitor the flow of passengers on the routes and if it increases, then the circulation frequency will change.
