Speaker at Moldovan community forum in Ireland
At the Moldovan community forum in Ireland, Speaker Igor Grosu highlighted the success stories of fellow citizens who have built businesses in various fields such as construction, consulting, IT, communication, and HoReCa. He emphasized that many of these entrepreneurs are starting to expand their businesses in the Republic of Moldova, and the authorities are committed to creating favorable conditions for attracting investments.
“In recent years, we have managed to make Moldova a candidate country for the EU, aligning with European standards, reforming its economy, and offering advantages to those who invest first. For companies looking to expand, Moldova is already a strategic destination for investments,” Grosu stated.
He acknowledged that there is still much work to be done, but the objective is clear: to double Moldova's economy in the next decade and to harness the potential of European integration for the country's development.
“We know we still have work to do, but our goal is clear: to double Moldova's economy in the next decade and to fully harness the transformative power of European integration,” Grosu concluded.
The forum - Moldova-Ireland: Connections through Excellence was held yesterday in Dublin. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Ireland in cooperation with an initiative group of the Moldovan community. It featured three panels on creation, communication, community support, business and entrepreneurship, and strengthening the network of entrepreneurs.
