Decision to allocate 22.4 million lei to Moldovan electoral body published in Official Journal
Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - The acting government’s decision on allocating additional financial means to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) for the holding of the 11 July snap parliamentary elections was published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) today.
„The Finance Ministry will earmark financial means worth 22 million 468,000 lei from the government’s reserve fund to the Central Electoral Commission for the organization and carrying out of the snap parliamentary elections, which took place on 11 July 2021,’’ the cabinet decision reads.
This money will be used for paying the salaries to the staff involved in the holding of the ballot.
The decision enters into force today with its publication in Moldova’s Official Journal.
